I am a Print, Email, and Web Designer. I am a Marketer. I am a wife. I am a Mom. I am a Health and Fitness Enthusiast. I’m a Grinner. I’m a Lover and I’m a Sinner. I’m a Juggler of all things!
My Design Approach
Because every project is unique, I begin each project with a client meeting. It is important to get a full understanding of your ideas, needs, concerns, and goals/end result from the start to ensure the best outcome. Further, I work to understand my clients’ business as a whole and how best to present it to their audience. I try to be as flexible as possible, working with my clients from start to finish, keeping the lines of communication open. I find this the best way to create clean, visually appealing designs that boost my clients’ brand.
My Design Story
My love of design began at a young age, Art was always my favorite class in school. I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Plymouth State University and immediately sought a job in the field that I loved so much.
I started my professional career at Rauhaus Freedenfeld & Associates, an Animal Care Architecture firm in Boston, MA. At RFA I worked directly with the Marketing Director on a wide variety of projects including: brochures, business cards, proposals, presentations, web design and website maintenance, and environmental graphics.
After RFA I began working at the corporate real estate firm, Jones Lang LaSalle (now JLL) as a Marketing Associate working within the in-house Marketing team. At JLL I designed property marketing materials, developed branding/marketing strategies, assisted with and managed events for the brokerage/investor communities as well as corporate events. I created and managed email campaigns and created assignment winning new business presentations.
From JLL I went to Cranberry Print Marketing Partners a cross media marketing company. As a Graphic Designer at CPMP I designed marketing materials including: logos, brochures, newsletters, ads, emails, and websites for a wide range of clients. I designed and managed the company website, developed multi-media marketing campaigns, and implemented social media marketing programs to build brand recognition.
Finally, I worked at EquipNet a surplus equipment management company as a Graphic and Email Design as well as a Web Designer in the Marketing Department. At EquipNet I designed marketing materials including, brochures, newsletters, ads, flyers, postcards, emails, and webpages. Developed and implemented multi-media marketing campaigns. Designed and managed company website. Wrote design specs outlining how visually the website should be built. Designed and implemented new business channels. Managed several committees that implemented major change within the company.
Now I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients as a Freelancer. No project is too big or small and no deadline is too aggressive. I love a challenge.
